About the Center
The Johnson Center for the Arts is part of the Troy-Pike Cultural Arts Complex. We are a public 501(c)(3) non-profit entity, located at 300 East Walnut Street, one block from Troy’s Court Square, and one-and-a-half blocks from the public library and City Hall.
Our Board of Directors is ethnically diverse, comprised of fifteen directors including a Board Chairman representing a cross section of the community. All Board members have contributed financially and donated numerous hours and expertise to the project.
Completing the Cultural Arts Center Complex is a storefront studio, The Cultural Arts Studio, directly across the street from The Johnson Center for the Arts. Since 2005, “The Studio” has hosted a variety of art, drama and musical events by City and County elementary and high school students and students from Troy University’s Department of Art & Design, as well as other events, both public and private.
The Troy-Pike Cultural Arts Complex. is dependent on contributions and sponsorships in order to maintain a state-of-the-art cultural arts facility and provide quality educational programming.
